Nature Therapy Course in Enniscorthy: Friday Evenings This August
Looking to nature for a bit of healing? This August, Enniscorthy Community Allotments is running a four week Nature Therapy course with facilitator Dee, exploring how time outdoors can support calm, connection, and wellbeing. Places are limited to 10, so early interest is encouraged.
What is nature therapy?
Nature therapy uses guided time outdoors to help people slow down, reconnect, and build a sense of calm. Across the four weeks, Dee will lead the group through simple, accessible ways to look to nature for healing, using the allotments themselves as the setting.
Nature-based approaches to wellbeing have grown steadily in Ireland in recent years, with community and healthcare programmes increasingly using outdoor settings to support mental and physical health.

Who is the course for?
This course suits anyone curious about how nature can support their wellbeing. No previous experience is needed, just an open mind and a willingness to spend a Friday evening outdoors. It is equally suited to allotment members and to newcomers who have never visited the site before.
When and where does the course run?
- Starts: Friday, August 7, 2026
- Runs for: 4 weeks
- Time: 7:00pm to 9:00pm each Friday
- Location: Enniscorthy Community Allotments, Gort Na Gréine, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford
- Group size: Limited to 10 participants
The same course also runs again in September for anyone who cannot make the August dates.
Meet your facilitator, Dee
The course is led by Dee, who brings a warm, grounded approach to exploring nature as a source of healing. Dee’s sessions invite participants to notice, breathe, and reconnect with the natural world around them.
