Enniscorthy Community Allotments are thrilled to be announced the Winner of the “Best Garden Transformation Award” by the Energia Get Ireland Growing Campaign today.
The award is a major achievement, especially since ECA only opened the gates to members on April 11th. Mark Cooke and Noreen Kehoe from the committee submitted the group entry to the national competition. The before and after photos submitted showed the huge transformation and highlighted the great work being done by members.
ECA will receive €1,000 as a prize for the award. This will support further improvements and developments at the site.
Our allotments will have our official opening on Saturday July 30th at 10:30am followed by open day until 12:30pm. All welcome to come along and have a look at what we have achieved since April!
