We love the vibrancy that Enniscorthy Community Allotments brings to the town of Enniscorthy. Michael and the team do trojan work to ensure the success of the project, becoming the envy of allotments across the country. They are a real success story.

You can grow a plant at home but you cannot grow a community.

A member of the KITE group in the allotments absolutely loved the artist workshop held in the Dome. He said it was better than any therapy session. 

Working at the allotment is a first for me but I already see is good for both body and mind. It’s a humble work for the day of tomorrow, maybe you need to show up on the cloudy days to enjoy the rewards of the spring, but it makes you appreciate as well the people and world around you.

The allotments are a little piece of heaven.

I had the pleasure of facilitating art workshops at Enniscorthy allotments in 2024. The allotments are an oasis of colour and calm. A wonderful achievement and an inspiring place to spend time, and to witness joy unfold in the hands of young and old. Congratulations to Michael and his team of volunteers on all they have done so far.

Week 7 of Mindfulness course in Enniscorthy Community Allotments last night. 

What a joy to share mindfulness to this truly outstanding group and in the most conductive environment.

Like last year, once again I can’t help but notice the relection of seeds that were sown in pots when we began 7 weeks ago, and now both plants and participants are beginning to flourish.

While the group shared a mindful walk last night reflecting on whats working in their lives right now and what’s not, I couldn’t help capture the growth reflections.

 This place is such a gem.
