DESCRIPTION:This free horticulture workshop in Enniscorthy is your chance to learn practical growing skills in a friendly\, hands-on environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner curious about growing your own food or an experienced gardener looking to brush up on techniques\, this eight-week course is open to everyone. \nLed by Louise Murphy from WWETB Community Education\, the workshop takes place every Friday morning at Enniscorthy Community Allotments. You’ll join a welcoming group of people who share a love of growing\, learning\, and getting stuck in together. \nWhat You’ll Learn at This Free Horticulture Workshop\nOver the eight weeks\, you’ll build confidence across a wide range of practical gardening skills. Sessions will cover seasonal growing and what to plant when\, how to take cuttings and propagate plants\, composting basics and how to create nutrient-rich soil\, tool sharpening and maintenance to keep your equipment in top shape\, and plenty more tips you can put into practice straight away. \nEach session blends a bit of know-how with lots of hands-on learning. You’ll leave with skills you can use in your own garden\, on an allotment plot\, or wherever you choose to grow. \nIf you’re new to Enniscorthy Community Allotments\, this workshop is a wonderful introduction to our community. We’re committed to inclusion and to creating a space where everyone feels welcome and valued. \nWhat to Bring\nCome ready to get your hands dirty! Bring a pair of gardening gloves and wear clothes you don’t mind getting mucky.
