This August\, Enniscorthy Community Allotments is running a four week Nature Therapy course with facilitator Dee\, exploring how time outdoors can support calm\, connection\, and wellbeing. Places are limited to 10\, so early interest is encouraged. \nWhat is nature therapy?\nNature therapy uses guided time outdoors to help people slow down\, reconnect\, and build a sense of calm. Across the four weeks\, Dee will lead the group through simple\, accessible ways to look to nature for healing\, using the allotments themselves as the setting. \nNature-based approaches to wellbeing have grown steadily in Ireland in recent years\, with community and healthcare programmes increasingly using outdoor settings to support mental and physical health. \nFor further reading on nature-based wellbeing programmes in Ireland\, see Mental Health Ireland’s Woodlands for Health project. \nWho is the course for?\nThis course suits anyone curious about how nature can support their wellbeing.
